Membership Committee: Sonia LaFauci, Chair

This committee works under the direction of the UCSD Vice-President and is responsible for increasing/retaining membership, planning monthly programs, and working to build diversity within the organization. The frequency of meetings is determined by the committee, but is generally once a month.

This committee proposes amendments and/or changes to the Constitution and Bylaws. The amendments and/or changes must be approved by 2/3 of the votes of the membership. Meetings are on an as needed basis.

This committee plays a key role in promoting the organization and its initiatives. It is made up of three working groups: (1) Website Maintenance, (2) Creative Resources which prepares promotional materials, and (3) Editorials/Public Relations to highlight UCSD programs and mission. The frequency of meetings is determined by the committee.

This committee is responsible for the preparation of proposals for fundraising activities and the execution of fundraising plans and events. A separate working group prepares recommendations for distribution funds to candidates. The frequency of meetings is determined by the committee.
